It was created by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (formally known as the ADA or American Dietetic Association) in order to promote and increase dietary awareness and physical activity as well as promote the Academy as a leading and credible source for scientifically-based food and nutrition information. This year the National Nutrition Month® theme is “Bite into a Healthy Lifestyle”. You can learn more about National Nutrition Month® at the Academy’s website, www.eatright.org.
